Bruce Appel
I received my PhD from the University of Utah in 1993 followed by postdoc training at the University of Oregon until 1998. I then joined the Department of Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University as an Assistant Professor. My family (Joelle, Madeline, and Sofie) and I moved to Colorado in 2008. Now that our daughters are grown, Joelle and I spend as much time in the mountains as possible. ​
