Yan Zhou
​Yan is a medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Class of 2026. She is interested in studying the recovery process of spinal cord injury using zebrafish as the model organism. Specifically, she is investigating the regeneration mechanisms of motor neurons and oligodendrocytes at both cellular and molecular levels using techniques such as timelapse imaging and RNA sequencing. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, exploring national parks, and discovering different food places.
